ECA Chairman Per Jaldung to leave his position as CEO of Casino Cosmopol in 2023

During the ECA’s General Assembly on 29 September 2022 at Casino Baden, Per Jaldung, the Chairman of the European Casino Association (ECA) announced that he will leave his position as CEO of Casino Cosmopol in 2023. Fortunately for the ECA, he will continue in his highly successful – so far seven-year tenure – as ECA Chairman until the next General Assembly on 7 February 2023. At this General Assembly, the ECA Board will present their proposal for the successor, and the General Assembly will vote on it.

ECA welcomes the United Kingdom back as a member

The European Casino Association is delighted to announce the return of UK casino operators as members of the association. During the ECA General Assembly held by the members on the occasion of the Casino Industry Forum, at Casino Baden in Austria on September 28 and 29, the official induction of eight casino operators from the UK was approved, including: Aspers Group, Crown Aspinalls, Genting Casinos UK, the Hippodrome Casino, Les Ambassadeurs, Mayfair Casino, Rank Group and Metropolitan Gaming. Next week the best European croupiers will come to Monaco to crown their champion

The European Dealer Championship 2022 roars back after a two-year absence to reclaim its title as the premier dealer competition in the European land-based casino industry. This year’s event takes place on the biggest stage and grandest theatre in European gaming, the fabulous Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monaco. Excitement is building for next month’s return of the ECA’s European Dealer Championship after a two-year absence

National teams from 22 European countries are preparing to send 39 participants to this year’s fabulous host, Casino de Monte-Carlo, on May 16-18, 2022. The ECA and Clarion Gaming launch Innovation Symposium

The European Casino Association and Clarion Gaming announced at the ICE show in London in April the confirmation of a new Innovation Symposia designed to bring casino operators and industry suppliers together in advance of ICE London 2023. The programme is scheduled to commence in the coming month with a series of digital round-tables staged across Europe. These will be followed by a larger in-person gathering in Brussels scheduled for early June.

The European Casino Association announces new board structure after its Board meeting today at ICE 2022

The retirement of Bettina Glatz-Kremsner as General Director of Casinos Austria, has prompted a restructure of the Board of the European Casino Association. Ms. Glatz-Kremsner’s position in representing Austria at the ECA Board has been filled by Erwin van Lambaart, who transitioned from his role at Holland Casino to the CEO of Casinos Austria at the start of this month.
