CV Matthias Hein

Matthias Hein is Member of the Board of the ECA and was elected Treasurer of the ECA in 2005. He currently works as CEO of Spielbank SH GmbH and 5 regional state licensed casinos, as well as Managing Director of OGS GmbH.

Matthias Hein co-founded the German Casino Association DeSIA in 2002, for which he was elected head and speaker in 2003. In addition, he is the CEO of five regional casinos, including Flensburg (since 2000), Kiel (since 1998), Travemünde and Westerland (both since 1997) as well as Casino Schenefeld (since 1996).

Before moving into the casino business in 1996, Matthias Hein held various top positions in the banking sector for many years after having founded and headed the first foreign branch of Apple Computer Inc. in Germany.
