STANDARDIZATION TRAINING

The ECA’s next training session (MEMBERS ONLY) is on standardization. It will be organized on 20-21 October 2011, in the Netherlands, in the city of Utrecht.

The session is organized together with Ethan Towers, Protocol Director of the Gaming Standards Association (GSA). It is aimed at IT-staff of the ECA-casino operators in Europe. The goal of the training is to provide the participants with a working knowledge of the GSA-standards and a starting point for the implementation of the standards.

Topics will include: GDS Executive Awareness; Transport & Security Executive Awareness; S2S Executive Awareness ; and Implementation of GSA standards. I refer you to the attached document for detailed explanations of the GSA and GDS.

As you know, the aims of these training sessions are to bring together members' staff and other casino industry experts in order to allow them to develop their existing skills, keep employees up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry, whilst acquiring specialist knowledge, and create an environment in which participants can network with one another.

As casino operators, we have to ensure the excellence of our services. In these times of economic crisis, the best way to build up on our expertise and raise our business and profile is by optimizing our resources and experience, as well as meeting and networking with other market players to explore the topics and trends that will encourage the industry in its development in the year to come. In these times of increasing competitive pressure, economic, political and regulatory change, this objective has gained even greater legitimacy.
