ECA SLOT SUMMIT

20-22 MARCH 2012

ECA is pleased to announce its support for the ECA Slot Summits that will be held in Germany and France during 2012. Following a successful inaugural event in Slovenia in May 2011, the ECA and the Slot Academy have decided to join forces. Common believe is these events address many of the issues facing ECA’s members in a practical and helpful way.

Over three days, casino managers, slot managers and marketing staff will be taken through the key elements of building a successful slot floor – from recognizing the types of players they have in their casino, to designing a layout and choosing the right game volatility to maximize revenue and encourage return visits.

Led by Lucien Wijsman – the founder of the Slot Academy – delegates will hear first-hand from practitioners about how to maximize the potential of their slot floor. The programme includes key speakers from GLI, Holland Casino, Casino di Campione d' Italia, Casino Cosmopol, Paul Steelman Associates as well as product presentations and sneak technology previews from the leading slot manufacturers.

The events will also allow effective business networking between delegates, speakers and manufacturers in a relaxed setting. Delegates are invited to attend receptions hosted by the ECA, GSA and AGEM.

The first ECA Slot Summit will be held in Hanover, Germany, on 20-22 March 2012.

·         Hosted by the Spielbank Hannover at RP5.

·         Regional focus on Germany, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Scandinavia.

·         Presentations will primarily be in English but with simultaneous translation into German.

·         The ECA is organizing a reception on 21 March from 18.30 to 20.30.

As you know, the aims of these training sessions are to bring together members' staff and other casino industry experts in order to allow them to develop their existing skills, keep employees up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry, whilst acquiring specialist knowledge, and create an environment in which participants can network with one another.

As casino operators, we have to ensure the excellence of our services. The best way to build up on our expertise, improve our business and raise our profile is by optimizing our resources and experience, as well as meeting and networking with other market players to explore the topics and trends that will encourage the industry in its development in the year to come.

In these times of increasing competitive pressure, economic, political and regulatory change, this objective has gained even greater legitimacy.
